I'm happy to finally share some exciting news with you all — Tabular is headed for the iPad! This has been in the works for quite a while now, and we're finally at a point where we can show off a few things.

Lots of effort has gone into into creating an entirely new interface that works wonderfully on the iPad's touchscreen. The app features a beautiful flat design created exclusively for iOS 7.

Virtually all functionality from the Mac app will remain in tact on the iPad, only now you can bring your tabs with you wherever you go. It works great for practicing — just prop your iPad up on a stand and your entire library of songs and exercises is available to you.

If you're already using Tabular on the Mac, you may be happy to know that your current tab library will be waiting for you on your iPad with upcoming iCloud support. In the next update of Tabular for Mac, you'll have the ability to move your documents to iCloud, where they will then be seamlessly shared with all of your other devices that Tabular runs on.

The app is currently still in development, and the tentative timeframe for its release is by the end of the year.

The iPad has been in sore need of a tablature editor for quite a while. Hope you're as excited about this as we are!
